LOCAL 802 UNION LEADERSHIP STRUCTURE
PRESIDENT
Presides at all Executive Board meetings and meetings of the membership
RECORDING VICE PRESIDENT
Takes minutes of meetings, maintains books and records
FINANCIAL VICE PRESIDENT
Oversees union’s finances
EXECUTIVE BOARD
Nine members plus the President and two Vice Presidents.
Supervises affairs of the union, including the negotiation of collective bargaining agreements
TRIAL BOARD
Nine members
Hears and determines charges against members
DELEGATES TO THE AFM CONVENTION
Five members
Attend and vote at the AFM convention
MEMBERSHIP
Rank and File Musicians of New York

ELECTION - PROCEDURES

802 Elections are held every three years

Any member who procures signatures from 100 other members between 9/15-10/15 can be a candidate for office

Nominations with 100 signatures from members are due by October 15
-
Requests for absentee ballots are due by October 15

802 Election will be held December 4, 2018
-
Ballots can be cast in person on December 4th or by absentee ballot. Absentee ballots must be mailed in and received by December 4.
